2 Lads Winery - Want to be able to smell a wine and pull out more aromatics than "grape" or "wine?" Come join us for our Sensory Evaluation class. Learn proper tasting techniques, various components of wine, and run through some wines we've doctored for you to tease and train your senses. You'll also get to test your new talent with a flight of wine. The class will be held at 2 Lads Winery on January 21, 1 p.m. The cost is $30 per person. Call to reserve your seat! 231.223.7722.

Black Star Farms - Sirius Maple is back in stock and the featured wine on our January coupon. This is a port-style wine made from our Hard Apple Cider and then fortified with our Apple Brandy and infused with Michigan maple syrup. Try it with apple pie, vanilla ice cream, or add it to your waffle and pancake syrups for your next special brunch.

Bowers Harbor Vineyards -
Winter Warm Up Discounts! Red Cepages and JT White wines both on sale—two for $22 or six for $60! We are featuring estate venison sliders with Linda's homemade cherry chutney. Stop by for an outdoor fire and sliders off the grill! Pints of cider and featured wines are only $4 a glass! Beer vs. Wine Dinner at the Boathouse January 21. Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery - Brys Estate is open this winter! January–March Hours: Fri. & Sat. 11 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.–4 p.m. We will also be open Monday, January 16 and Monday, February 20 from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. for Martin Luther King Jr. and Presidents' Day. Chateau Chantal - Try our newly released Cinq a Sept! The first release of our oak-aged brandy is now available only at the winery. Guaranteed to warm you up, this Old Mission grape brandy spent five years mellowing in a French oak barrel, gaining a golden color and butterscotch, honey and spice characters. Chateau Grand Traverse - It's Winter Warm Up time at Chateau Grand Traverse. Our winery tasting room is open daily throughout the winter season, offering complimentary wine tasting to all of our guests. During the winter months, relax and enjoy a slower pace at the winery and taste our many quality wines. This month we are proud to feature two specials: 2010 Dry Riesling, two bottles for $22 and 2009 Silhouette Red, two bottles for $24, plus additional case discounts. We look forward to seeing you this winter season at Chateau Grand Traverse!

Peninsula Cellars - Come and enjoy the New Year with a beautiful red wine from Peninsula Cellars. Our 2010 Cabernet Franc is the tasting room staff's favorite dry red. The 2010 vintage provided rich, ripe fruit that makes the Cabernet Franc a very elegant wine. At $20, this wine will warm your palate and your heart! Only a limited number of bottles left!

  Romancing the Riesling
Saturday, February 18
11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Visit each of the seven wineries to celebrate the Riesling varietal. Featured Riesling samples will be expertly paired with hor d'oeuvres and desserts.

Tickets are $15 and include a souvenir wine glass. Guests will also enjoy 10% off all Riesling purchases during the event—does not include ice wine and cannot be combined with any other discount or offer.
